What’s the Story?
“The kids call it ‘crashing out’ these days—maybe that’s exactly what I did. But instead of breaking down, I channeled everything into this painting. I was like a mad scientist, painting from midnight to 3 a.m. after one of the toughest days. Instead of reaching for external validation or distractions, I went home…and created. Whew. Just thinking about that day still makes me shudder. Thank God I’m no longer living in that timeline.”
