What’s the Story?
Around this time, I became very intentional about what I put on canvas. I asked myself—What do I want to release into the world? What would someone want to hang on their wall? The Evil Eye came to mind—a symbol of protection and a rejection of harm. Worn across many cultures, the Evil Eye acts as an amulet to guard against negative energy, misfortune, and the gaze of envy. It’s believed to serve as a shield, reflecting that energy back to its source—an ancient reminder that we are always worthy of protection.
