What’s the Story?
This was one of those moments where I had to force myself to paint. I had a friend over—maybe that threw off my flow. Nothing felt quite right at first. There was a lot of painting over…a lot of head shakes. And then—out of nowhere—this robot appeared on the canvas. So I followed that. To me, it looks like he’s emerging from the darkness into the light.
