Idlewild, MI has become my new summer retreat. Each visit leaves me with a deep sense of renewal. In the summer of 2025, I went with a few friends and painted this piece outdoors. It is my translation of the landscape with trees, birds, water, winding roads, and the peace that flows through it all.
