Hmmm… I had no idea what I was going to paint when this silly little face appeared. I had already been deep in preparation for my solo exhibition and felt like I needed a break…but I kept painting anyway. Somehow, this character emerged as a playful reminder to loosen up, have fun with my creativity, and not take myself too seriously. I love this little guy. He showed up just when I needed him.
