Whats the Story?

“I painted this at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. It captures the chaos and confusion around one simple thing—the mask. I watched as misinformation spread just as quickly as the virus. Some wore their masks over their noses, some as chin diapers, and some not at all. Meanwhile, the virus moved through everyone in some way—some carried it without knowing, some weren’t contagious, and others were. It was a strange, tangled mess of fear, misunderstanding, and survival. But if there was one thing we all agreed on—it was that this was the new normal. The grocery store became my muse.”
