Whats the Story?
Both of these paintings emerged during a deeply transformative period in my life—one where I was reclaiming my body, fully and unapologetically. I was doing intense trauma work centered on my sexuality, and I felt an urgent need to rewrite the narrative that had followed me from childhood into adulthood. I wanted to be bold and unashamed in naming the vagina as it is. I wanted to speak it, correct others when they didn’t, and honor it as sacred. Most of all, I was learning to reclaim my pleasure—on my own terms.
