What’s the Story?
Here’s another one of my early paintings. With this piece, I just wanted to step outside the box. I was tired of recreating things I’d already seen in the material world—I wanted to challenge myself to paint something surreal, something trippy, something completely imagined. That’s how Trippy Forest came to life. It was my first time using neon colors, and my first time painting something that didn’t come from direct observation. It came from somewhere else—my mind, my mood, maybe even another dimension.
