Many Tongues began with a question:

The exhibition brought visual art, music, comedy, food, film, sustainable fashion and archival practice into conversation, creating a space where storytelling could move across mediums, generations and live experiences.

Experiencing Eye N Eye for me solidifies what Eddie Murphy once said; that he was an artist that expressed himself through many mediums. Seeing Brittany in the light of poetry, painting, dancing, storytelling, amongst a plethora of other things, showcases how one person can equally be many things, and it’s inspiring. What stood out most with Eye N Eye was seeing Brittini’s mind, longings, pain, curiosity, joy & visions splattered, shaped, and made of art on a canvas. Brittini’s obedience to the calling from her spirit is absolutely astounding! To see what she manifests as she unfolds, creates, develops, and grows shows others about the power of trusting oneself, the importance of knowing that we are Gods, the importance of discipline and alignment, and the awareness that we can create our own lanes. Eye N Eye you are a beacon of light, a bouquet of diverse creativity, a powerhouse and.a movement. I am so very proud of you, keep shining and inspiring! My experience with Eye N Eye was both affirming and transformative. It wasn’t just about sharing my work, it was about being seen, heard, and uplifted in a space that values authenticity and artistry.

The impact of the closing of her Many Tongues Art Exhibition rippled outward. “My Mother’s Arrangement”, left me feeling more grounded in my creative identity and more confident in my ability to connect through spoken word. For the audience, I believe that it was a chance to witness storytelling that honored legacy and resilience, sparking conversations that extended beyond the performance. For our community, it reinforced the power of collective expression, reminding us that art is not only entertainment but also healing and resistance.

I was surprised by how seamlessly Eye N Eye balanced professionalism with genuine care. The way she honored each artist’s voice while weaving us into a larger narrative was powerful. It reminded me that when artistry meets intention, the result is more than a performance, it’s a movement. I’m so thankful for the entire experience!

Attending the Many Tongues Spoken Word event was divinely orchestrated. I saw the invitation the day before and wanted to support Brittini without realizing what to expect. It was a very intimate and soul stirring event. The poetry presented by the artists was absolutely fantastic. Each offering tugged at my heart strings. The live music was excellent and how there was a marriage between the musical artists and lyrical artists. The energy was very high. Brittini's artwork was phenomenal. The experience was amazing. I felt cared for and seen. I felt very comfortable in the space. The panel was delightful. The art was fantastic. I came into town specifically to see this event and it surpassed my expectations which were already high because I know their work to be very genuine and sincere and beautiful. I think this was a wonderful experience. I would love to have been a bigger event with more seeds but honestly, my friend found me a seat. I had a great drink. I had great food great community great interaction so I just look forward to seeing their work in bigger spaces.
